AMC helps you get outdoors on your own, with family and friends, and through activities close to home and beyond. With chapters from Maine to Washington, D.C., including groups in Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia, you can enjoy activities like hiking, paddling, cycling, and skiing, and learn new outdoor skills. Fire Island Cabin is a volunteer-run facility. Volunteer managers and leaders run weekend and midweek activities. All guests participate in chores to clean and maintain the cabin. Weekend guests share food prep, communal meals, and clean-up; midweek (Monday-Thursday) is self-service (bring your own food and utilize our fully-equipped kitchen).
Venetian luxury defines the Belvedere Guest House. With its ornate architecture, statuary, antiques and fountains, this hotel is unique to Fire Island.
