The Fire Island Minyan Synagogue is Fire Island's Modern Orthodox Synagogue. They hold Shabbat services throughout the summer season (May - September). The FIM welcomes both regular attendees and guests, and strives to present an inclusive place for interested parties to participate in prayer services in a traditional (yet casual) environment.
The Fire Island Synagogue (”FIS”) was founded in 1954. Located on the corner of Beachwold and Central in Seaview, Fire Island. We offer services that blend tradition and innovation with prayer, learning, and joyful music. The congregation is inter-generational and includes members from a variety of backgrounds.
